Workflow in Affinity Photo to enhance photos.1.Cropping : with Cropping Tool (C) >> custom ratio if needed2.White Balance: White Balance Adjustment Layer3.Global Lighting: Brightness / Contract Adjustment Layer4.Global Coloring: Vibrance Adjustment Layer > Focus on Saturation for global effect and Vibrance for local effect5.Targeted Lighting: Brightness / Adjustment Layer(s) - Invert Adjustment Layer and use Paint Brush to local adjustments (paint in white)6.Targeted Coloring: Vibrance Adjustment Layer(s) - Invert Adjustment Layer and use Paint Brush to local adjustments (paint in white)7.Clean up: Add a Pixel Layer and place just above Backgrond - Fire up Inpaint Tool (!!! select Current Layer and Below from Context Toolbar)8.Special Effects: Select Top Layer and Select Merge Visible. Set Blend Mode to Soft Light9.Sharpen: Zoom in to 100% (Z) - Add High Pass Filter and move new layer to top of the stack. Turn on Monochrome to prevent oversaturation of the colors and adjust Radius to 2 px. Set Blend Mode to Overlay. 10.Wrap Up: Adjust individual Layers if needed; group layers and save work.
